Bio:
Dr. Toran is a board certified interventional radiologist with specialized expertise in minimally invasive spine procedures. With advanced training in image-guided therapies, Dr. Toran treats conditions such as vertebral compression fractures, herniated discs, spinal stenosis and chronic back pain. Using techniques like kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, basivertebral nerve ablation/Intracept and spinal injections, they focus on reducing pain and restoring function without surgery. Dr. Toran collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, patient-centered spine care.
He has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Interventional Radiology since 2024 (peer-nominated, then screened against professional, reputational, and outcomes criteria). A past president of the medical staff, he currently chairs the nominating committee. He is the chairman of radiology and president of North Shore Radiology Associates.
